ISEE SURVEY RESULTS SHARED AT INTERIM COMMITTEE MEETING
The first of three legislative interim committee meetings on education occurred on Thursday, September 12 at the Capitol Building. The agenda featured presenters on the following topics: Overview of K-12 Educational System, Perspectives on K-12 Educational System, and Longitudinal Data Systems and Considerations for Policymakers.
Tom Taggart, Idaho Association of School Business Officials, shared results and recommendations from an ISEE survey that IASBO and IASA sent out prior to the committee meeting. The survey indicated that even though the SDE has taken a number of positive steps to assist school districts, most districts are still very frustrated with the issues in uploading, impacts to staff, costs to districts, and the lack of confidence in the data coming directly from ISEE.
